Network depiction

Our world is not flat. The maps we design should not be either. This is why we design 2D and 3D maps, so you can have thereal world in your hands.

We are equipped with cutting-edge technology equipment when it comes to apps used for depicting roads in big urban centers and large sections of land in the countryside. We use state-of-the-art drones to take the best possible aerial photographs. Our GNSS receivers (G.P.S) are equipped with digital cameras capable of depiction by using the photogrammetry method.

Advanced methods of depicting public utility networks

Having successfully implemented topographic depiction projects for both public utility services and private companies, we are able to manage the cartographic needs of every network the best way possible.

Drones

Our drones scan the places of interest and create backgrounds of high resolution and precision, which will be later used for the digitization of the network. By photographing the ground, our drones provide us with precise coordinates regarding land-based facilities (buildings, wastewater treatment plants, pumping stations).

Data Processing

The next stage is to double-check that we understand every data regarding the network pipelines, wires and other components. The complexity of registering and showing points of interest in a large metropolitan area is extremely considerable. IANIC is a pioneer in depicting challenging areas with centimeter precision, employing the latest generation RTK G.N.S.S receivers, photogrammetric methodology and laser scanner technology.

Drains, water distribution meters, sewerage systems and gas pipes, as well as power and telecommunications networks, which are typically situated above and/or beneath pavements, are all crucial details to note.

For us, as well as for our clients, the descriptive information of the network components is significant due to the role they play in proper network maintenance. We register all the distinctive traits of these components and make them available in Relational Database Management Systems (RDBMS).

At this stage, our main goal is to depict the network with the necessary precision regarding its pipelines, cables and components.

At a local administration level (Municipalities, Prefectures)
the benefits of regular aerial cartography are plenty.

Validation of documents any time and for any purpose (companies, natural persons, courts).

Control of illegal waste/debris disposal and illegal constructions.

Surface area measurement (mainly industrial facilities), without the need of any member of staff being present, to re-determine municipal taxes.

Measuring of the surface covered with chairs and tables to determine municipal taxes.

Detection of bins, street-lighting and ground damage (e.g., potholes)

Quick visualization of natural disasters (floods, earthquakes) to ascertain the exact extent of the disaster.
